Part IV- Oh No! Nancy Pelosi !!!
Edited on Sat Nov-04-06 10:44 PM by dapper
What kind of Government will we have if Nancy Pelosi is Leader of the House?
http://www.democraticleader.house.gov/pdf/thebook.pdf

Can we compare her with Dennis Hassert? What was it, 10 years of hiding the page scandal?

I overheard two guys talking at work- One guy asked the other about Hassert/Pelosi. The other guy states when it comes to scales, he lifted up his left hand and extended it to the left and said, "this is where Hassert is", he extended his right hand to the right and said "and this is where Nancy Pelosi is" and then said, "They basically equal themselves out". Now, I know that I should have immediately corrected to fellow in regards to the Left and Right :hi:

The same guy mentioned that Pelosi would increase our taxes and I explained that any tax increase would be on the top 1% of taxpayers and what he mentioned was Republican hog wash.

I also added that she is going to take immediate action if she becomes speaker of the house- Stating in the first 100 hours they plan to increase mi minim wage, adopt the recommendations of the 9-11 commission...etc.etc..:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/10/06/AR2006100600056.html

but the Republicans and Conservatives alike all want to paint a different picture of her. a left leaning Democrat from San Francisco. Hmm, I was a left leaning New Yorker and now I am a left leaning Hoosier! She fits my ideal candidate for House Leader!

but they go on saying she is going to roll back the tax cuts, she is going to increase taxes on the middle class... BULLSHIT!- Hey, I came up with a new slogan (See Part I) "Hannity Insanity"...

With just a few short days, I think we need to get the message out to people leaning on the fence. Let them know the truth and not what the Rep/Conservatives want you to believe.

1. The GOP already raised taxes. They cut at the Federal level and then
cut funding to states and municipalities so they raised property taxes, sales taxes, license and fee taxes.

The middle-class tax raises were more at the state and local levels than any of their federal tax "cuts" were at the federal level.

Oh, and they created a "birth tax" for every child born who now has to pay off a greatly increased national debt.
