America has hit bottom.

Agreed?

But this can be good, since the bottom is where all the bounce is.

We can thank AA folks for the "hitting bottom" concept and from that perspective hitting bottom is more of a plus than a minus.

Why? Because UNTIL you hit bottom you're living in the Kingdom of Denial and the huge majority of Americans (this writer included) were living in national denial seven years ago.

However, thanks to the limitless greed of the Bush/Republicans, millions of us have discovered something which was always true, but was too depressing to acknowledge: the United States of American is (and always has been) a Dictatorship of the Rich. This might just as well be the Middle Ages since 1% of the county live like Greek Gods and treat us like cattle. We pay the taxes, fight their greed and/or religious fanaticism wars, and clean their commodes. They should be wearing crowns and robes and we should be barefoot.

Said differently, in family systems theory, we're like a wife who is finally coming to terms with the truth that her husband is a abusive bastard.

The point is, some truths are so awful and overwhelming that the line of least resistance is pretence and self dishonesty, but EVENTUALLY (if you're lucky and courageous) you stop lying to yourself and see things like they are.

This is now happening in America.

Here's something else we're coming out of denial about. The traditional "two party system" is more part of the problem than the solution. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumber. Probably because the Greek God elites are evenly distributed between both political parties! There's just as many vampire rich dems as there are vampire rich pugs, and make not mistake; they all belong to the same country clubs! Look at how Bill Clinton keeps sucking up to Daddy Bush.

And listen to “centrist” Hillary Clinton (when she takes a stand about ANYTHING). She's a textbook collaborator for corporate elites. Listen to Judas Joe Lieberman (if you can bear his leering hypocrisies). Same thing. Probably worse. DLC stands for Democrats Love Collaborators. Indeed, there are a handful of wonderful and courageous exceptions, but they simply prove the rule.

Elected dems aren't "representing” us! They are merely court jesters of the pig, pig rich. To go back to family systems theory, they are the groveling enablers of American Royalty.

We read about the Saudi Royal Family. Jeez, aren’t they all of a piece with the Bush Royal Family? The Bush Royal Family sure whisked away all members of the bin Laden family A MATTER OF HOURS after 9/11. Hmmm. Just how deep does this incestuous treachery go?

Anyway, you already know what these filth bags are up to, with their designer oil wars and murder of New Orleans and rape of Mother Nature and tax breaks for billionaires, etc., etc.

The big point is that we knew similar things seven years ago, but we only "half" knew them. It was more peaceful to pretend that neo Nazi Republican traitors, murderers, and thieves didn't live cancer-like in the infrastructure of the American body politic.

But they do . . . and always have done so.

Isn't it amazing the things you can see clearly when you're on the bottom?

Now what to do about it is another matter, but one thing is certain. It will NEVER come from traditional politics.

One wonders are far away we are from the streets . . .
