How close are we to when millions of Americans stop playing the "political game"?
***************************************************************************
The "political game" is an elaborate safety valve designed to protect the American Dictatorship of the Rich. But when most of our country starts realizing that politics is part of the problem, not the solution, then the safety valve is blown.

And the alternative to the political game is . . .

Hmmm, well there's always the streets.

More conservatively, nation wide boycotts come to mind. Ironically, it would take only a matter of weeks to bring down the Judas media with scientifically focused nation wide boycotts. The same is true for Texas corporate energy vampires.

The soul of American fascism is the corporate world, and the corporate world has a VERY soft underbelly. Hell, just stop buying their products and using their advertisers. What could be simpler?

The tragedy is that most of us just still don't get it that:

(1.) Nation wide boycotts are 100% guaranteed to save America from the Bush neo Nazi 4th Reich.

(2.) The American consciousness "must be raised" to realize that such boycotts would be cake to do! It's like we've got the nearly perfect solution to the 2 Party System of enabling the rich to brainwash us into cleaning their commodes, but we just can't be bothered to spend 10 minutes a day to save ourselves, our children, America, and the planet Earth.

Look, nation wide boycotts of fascist corporations would be easy, easy, EASY to do. Sure, some of us have to get the ball rolling (and many already are), but it won't work unless MILLIONS of us get the message that WE CAN AND MUST DO THIS.

So, this is an SOS to my fellow Americans to all pull together on this. It's like we have a fatal virus which is steadily killing everyone and everything we love and hold dear.

BUT, we also have an antidote! God in heaven, let's start using it. The antidote is nation wide boycotts of fascist corporations (at the risk of repeating myself), but it won't work unless we walk the walk. Talking the talk is meaningless b.s. That is just what America's Greek God elites WANT us to do. They want us to talk the talk until America is transformed into a totalitarian state to surpass the German 3rd Reich.

Because that's exactly what they are doing to us; they're turning us into an American version of the Nazi Party. Hey, the "Republican Party" is just a code name for the Nazi Party. Even President Filth's grandfather, Prescott Bush, was openly buddy, buddy with the Nazis.

So IF our only realistic hope is targeted, national boycotts (do you really think we're going to get any help from Judas Joe Lieberman or the DLC Hillary Clinton Doll?), our challenge (to use military lingo) is to "make it happen".

The thing is we have no inherited structure for this. Our noble Constitution for this purpose is useless.

The bottom line is both hopeful and hopeless: it's 100% up to us! This will happen if and only if we make it happen, and "we" here doesn't mean the diaper dems or Nazi repiglicans. It means EACH OF US. This is grass roots -- or nothing.

How ironic. We totally have the means to save ourselves, but unless the responsibility taking goes deep, deep, deep, all this talk is moot and we are doomed.

America has three parts. The 1% American Royalty (alas, of both parties); the political enablers of American Royalty (alas again, of both parties), and all the rest of us. Now since "all the rest of us" is the vast majority of the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave (check the polls!), and since it's now obvious to barnyard animals that politics is part of the problem, not the solution, boycotts are the only thing standing between us and Adolph Hitler reincarnate.

4. let's share all the information we can about this -- lets GET EMPOWERED
Let's find out the the companies who are keeping Fox Snooze going with their commercials and let's find out the Texas oil companies who have the worst record of raping Mother Nature. I wish I knew more than I do, but I'm open to being taught by the folks who have done their homework about this and I promise I will write up as many storms as I can to get this thing going! CORPORATE BOYCOTTS WILL WORK and just imagine how wonderful it will feel to know you're hitting these bastards where it hurts the most -- their filthy bottom line.

6. Actually I'm kind of heartened about the expansion of Satellite Tv
Both Dish and Direct TV have FSTV which shows Democracy Now and other programs like it while cable doesn't. It's really media that would get this thing rolling and more seem to be getting Sat TV over cable. It's there and the internet that will help to reach a wider audience.

I remember threatened boycotts moving the earth and sea back when these right-wing bastards got going. God knows a 'moral-majority' boycott used to scare the shit out of anyone back in the 'idyllic' Reagan years. Now we all now know it was a carefully planned sham. We do have the numbers as Jim said. Of course, I am of no help. I have frankly bought nothing new(except for maybe gas and a few simple groceries) ever. I buy no new clothes. I buy no new... nothing. Partly economics, partly obstinance. BOYCOTT!NOW! Let's get back to a human-scale economy.

on edit: shoes. Every tax refund I buy a pair of work boots. American made.

3. While I applaud your optimism, I don't have much faith in the majority
of Americans to even realize there's a problem. Unless they are directly affected, nothing much will change.

5. But they are already being effected and some are beginning to
realize it. I have been boycotting as much as possible for 3 years. Also have friends who are doing the same. It is hard to drop the habit, but takes about a month to get used to it. I love doing it. It is the only weapon I have. We get together and exchange ideas about ways to avoid products. Simple things can be utilized, plus buying local. It feels great and we spread the word. It is amazing how little one can spend and cut way back on driving.Others have become interested and ask questions.

thank you for sharing it -- it inspires me to keep (a.) zapping a companies I hate and (b.) keep shouting from the rooftops that we should all BOYCOTT FASCIST CORPORATIONS! I don't want to be corney, but from rivulets come streams come rivers come BIG rivers which will wash away the bottom lines forever the planet killing corporations. EVERYING comes to a griding halt if we stop buying their fucking gasoline.

11. Many fools still await the (c)rapture.
My family is totally brainwashed by Jesus. They do not care about what is going on because they really believe that Jesus is going to rapture them in a week or 2. In fact, the worse things get, the deeper they get into religion and bible studies, I try to reason with them and they keep telling me that "Gawd is testing me".

Marx was wrong about a lot of things, but he sure was right about Christianity being the opiate of the masses!

7. By Impoverishing the Workers, Big Business Is Doing Itself In
Between the inflation of the money supply making the dollar lose value, and the loss of purchasing power experienced by the growing unemployed or underemplyed or simply not paid market value population, Business is suffering--but they won't take responsibilty for it, blaming anybody else in the room for it.

What Business doesn't know about Economics fills several large volumes--and they have their own pet economists spinning fairy tales for them, which they try to make us all follow. The results? Hello, 1929!

8. Though your concept is correct, ...

in practice it challenges the human condition of desire and greed. What your optimism needs for fulfillment, is raising the consciousness of the majority of society. If this was easily accomplished, the politics and religions of the world would not be a source of stress.
