Attention Democrats: I Told You So! Would You Like to Wake Up Now?

Attention Democrats: I Told You So! Would You Like to Wake Up Now?

So the Democrats in Congress caved in and the Iraq catastrophe continues. What a surprise. Who’d of thought? I never saw that coming. So what are all you brave bold Democrats going to do now; write an angry e-mail to your reps, get your crazy hats and creative signs and march to some empty buildings in DC? Ooooh you go get’em! The members of Congress must be shaking in their boots…from all the laughter that is!

I have a few questions for Democrats: Do you understand now? Are you starting to get it? Do realize that the issues facing out nation are not political and that they are actually criminal? Do you now realize that this thing you call democracy is a show and that representative government is now nothing more than a hoax! Do you realize that your party, along with the Republican party, is controlled by establishment figures, as are your wonderful do nothing sheep herding activists groups like MoveOn.org?

How many pretend hearings do you need to see before your realize that nobody is being held accountable for all the crimes being exposed during these meetings? What’s the point?

4. I respectfully disgree. I am a yellow dog dem; I have tried the other
way and have been found wanting. The democracy is not perfect; however, the rule of the GOPers has been not only a travesty, but also a monumental disaster for the country, the world and the planet. Perhaps we need to change some dem faces and in time we can. At this moment in time, however, it is incumbent upon all of us to support and push and complain so that the dems we have do their best. We have seen the alternative and it is world-ending.

5. Bush would have vetoed and vetoed any dem bills until the troops really
were out of supplies. The neocons love social engineering and massive pain it causes. I think the Dems just made another "Sophie's Choice". Repukes love to send those to the dems to vote on.

It will not be forever. Bush cannot up the troops come September cause there are none. He will have to change course and negotiate at that point. He will be bankrupt and out of neocon solutions.

Sorry. But that is how I feel. These plyers attached to the Dems butts are Rovian. You take the loss and hope you can get what you need (diplomacy and troops redeployment) in the future.

Bush had a veto. And he is cold blooded enough to use it again and again all spring/summer.
