AP reports on last night's event with Ellen Mariani
Mariani has refused to accept money from the Victims Compensation Fund. Instead, she filed suit in federal court against United Airlines and Huntleigh USA Corp., accusing them of failing to protect her husband from the terrorist hijacking. That suit was filed in the Southern District of New York.

She also filed a racketeering lawsuit last year in federal court in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, accusing President Bush and top members of his administration of knowing such hijackings were imminent, but failing to prevent them for personal and political gain.

"Ellen's not looking for money," he said. "She's looking for truth."

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I'm amazed they reported it but not amazed at HOW they reported it.

The report that she's filed a RICO suit against Bush (historic event) like..."Ho Hum and yes, by the way she filed this lawsuit."

I know we're lucky they covered it at all but it just really bothers me because the HAVE TO be being told to play things down. You just would not report this event in this tone if unfettered.

1. You know what I find strange?
The complete and systematic lack of interest by the broadcast media to do any documentaries on 9/11. Not easy official story stuff. It's like the whole event his slipped down the memory hole. Have people lost interest in the story?

No, I think any indepth commentary would be quite fascinating. They'd have to discuss what Bush was doing for 20 minutes after being told about the 2nd crash. They'd have to talk about the hijackers. They'd have to revisit the crash of 77 and report that it crashed 52 minutes after the 2nd hit. They'd have to report on the bin Laden families exit while George was saying OBL was public enemy#1. They'd have to talk about the Anthrax attack, the Patriot Act, Condi's "we never expected that plane's would fly onto buildings", the August intel report......

I think an indepth documentary, now that the fog has cleared, would be of utmost importance to the American people.....I just can't understand why there has been no interest in the networks to revisit 9/11.

Very, very strange.

2. Ellen's lawyer, Philip Berg said that he has been in contact with
a woman who works part time with NBC about doing a documentary. She's doing it on her own. He asked her why NBC isn't doing it and she said, "you know who owns NBC, don't you?"

Media whores every one!!!
