Our Co-Reigning AntiChrists: Schumer and Feinstein
by P.M. Carpenter | Nov 4 2007

Somewhere within the vertical configuration of Dante's nine circles of hell, there's a mezzanine level reserved for torture-adoring Republican pols to eternally consort with their simpatico brethren of Gestapo Funktionär, KGB apparatchiks and Pinochet's tenientes.

Now under construction, word from below has it, is an annex to that subterranean hellhole, just a bit to the left and a little lower, newly and exclusively reserved for Democratic collaborators.

And Baby Jesus just punched Charlie Schumer and Dianne Feinstein's tickets.

For what transparent farce can they successfully huckster to St. Peter? The one they'll peddle to the Earthly benighted two years or five from now, when yet more evidence of America betrayed comes in the ignominious form of a Torture-Revisited document dump? The farcical plea that goes, simply and sweetly: We didn't know?

snip//

These two senators held in their hands the most pregnant opportunity yet to body-block and pin the most lawless administration in the history of this declining Republic. Yet they took that opportunity and bargained it away; they sold out their country, their conscientious colleagues and their souls.

We can only hope and pray, at this forsaken point, that Schumer and Feinstein be held in political purgatory for the remainder of their now-obscene, Earthly careers. Then, with Heaven's nod, they can go straight to hell.

2. Nice. Calling two Jewish Senators 'Antichrists'.

Jack Chick could not have done any better. Torquemada would have been proud. Congratulations.

3. Who cares if they're Jewish? Don't you care that they did the wrong thing?
And yes, they're Dems, and goddamnit, they deserve our wrath. We are now all torturer enablers by their words and actions.

4. You don't think Jewish = AntiChrist is a tad anti-semitic?
Think on that a bit. Read a history book if necessary.

And do us all a favor and speak for yourself. I'm no torturer-enabler. Maybe YOU are.

6. Nor am I, but by the actions of Schumer and Feinstein, they are
condoning torture in our names. Think on that a bit.

7. The title didn't even strike me that way though I'm not religious at all; I
just think the writer wanted to get the point across that they're going to hell for their actions. Or maybe he was making a point which went totally over my head.

Disagree with them all you want, but lay off the name-calling and hysteria.

10. You posted it here, you professed agreement with it.
Why, exactly, should you be left alone? It's pretty classically antisemitic.

11. I agreed with his premise that Feinstein and Schumer should be
castigated for voting this way, not for the antisemitism that I didn't even recognize. Again, I've stated I am not religious and didn't even recogize that if that was the writer's intention. To determine that, he needs to be contacted.

you're so ignorant, you didn't understand how offensive this is?

Par for the course.

13. anti-christs?
Edited on Mon Nov-05-07 01:39 AM by MonkeyFunk
Is that meant to be entirely anti-semitic or just hugely hyperbolic?

Edit: meant to be in response to the OP.

15. Will you two stop the petty bickering? Change 'anti-christ' to anti-democracy and you have truth

without hyperbole.

There's nothing religious about their actions, just normal Democrat perfidy. Even that isn't true. There has become little difference between the Democan party and the Republicrat party. The money elite speaks and our 'honorable' politicians ask "What color?"

The only thing they must be asked is just how does a traitor feel these days.

16. our petty bickering?
Babylonsister hasn't responded to my posts. Not sure what bickering you think you saw.

"anti-christs" isn't synonymous with "anti-democratic". Words have meanings.

17. Yes, I'm ignorant. But you appear to be also by not responding
to the content of the article. I didn't write it in case you didn't or couldn't figure that out so I have no chance of changing the title, nor would I. Methinks you just want to pick a fight, but it ends here for me. IF this insulted anyone, I'm very sorry. Too bad the content couldn't be discussed on a discussion board. Go figure. Oh, and have a nice day.

14. They're building comity and unity.
Supporting the troops. Being good loyal Americans.

I agree babylonsister. You can't co-sign on for the torture gig now without expecting payback in the next world.

And to the rest of you bobbing heads. Admittedly I didn't read the original article since I could clearly see where this was going, but it is not uncommon for the title to be something which is supposed to draw the reader in. The actual article that is here doesn't have anything to do with anti-semitism and like babylonsister I had no idea Feinstein and Schumer are jewish. In fact, I'm not too sure where it says that being jewish makes one immune to being accused of making stupid or even evil decisions.
