Which side is T. Daschle on? |
|
http://www.rapidcityjournal.com/articles/2004/02/20/news/local/news05.prtHe says one thing one day, then another thing another day and place. Seems like he's trying to burn the candle at both ends!

1. Tom Better Hope for a Kerry Landslide |
|
The ONLY thing that might get Tom Daschle reelected will be very long and strong coat tails from a Kerry presidential election landslide.
Even then ...
Daschle is going to lose.
Given the choice between Tom "Please Don't Hit Me" Daschle and a real Repbulican, South Dakota voters will go with the real Republican.

2. Tom "Please Don't Hit Me" Daschle - that's right. |
|
Somebody ought to send him a spine. He led the party to disaster in the 2002 elections.

3. strap on your pink tutu |
|
and do the DINO dance!
Uncle Tom Dasche, gonna show you how it's done Just bend way over and say yes sir please, Rush is always right, now,get down on your knees
try to get a little lower, then crawl down on the floor and say: yes Mr.President, I really love your war!
Then tell all of the democrats to do the same as you, and line up right behind him like we did 2002
No Dean's or Clark's or Moseley Brauns can tell us what to do we like to grovel on the floor and wear big pink tutu's
We're entrenched and craven democrats who like to play our games and expect that all you democrats will proudly do the same

4. Here's some text from your link. Outrageous! Check this out! |
|
I am beginning to think we might ultimately be better off without Tom Daschle (even with the loss of a Senate seat). He is a clear and present danger to the Democratic Party and maybe even the nation, and as Senate Minority Leader, no less! Looks like he's now a neocon. Again, from your link:
PIERRE - Sen. Tom Daschle, D-S.D., on Thursday praised the Bush administration's war and nation-building work in Iraq and said he has no serious concerns about the lack of weapons of mass destruction.
Daschle told state chamber of commerce representatives meeting in the South Dakota capital that he is satisfied with the way things are going in Iraq.
"I give the effort overall real credit," Daschle said. "It is a good thing Saddam Hussein is no longer in power. It is a good thing we are democratizing the country."
He said he is not upset about the debate over pre-war intelligence on weapons of mass destruction, an issue that has dogged President Bush as Democratic presidential contenders have slogged through the primary season.
"We can argue about the WMD and what we should have known," Daschle, the Senate minority leader, said.

8. Daschle has been an almost total failure |
|
Edited on Sun Feb-22-04 07:15 AM by Democat
Even the judges he has helped block are slowly being appointed in recess.
Why he was allowed to remain the Senate Democratic leader after the 2002 election will always be a mystery.
