It is official: no one can tell me the Big Dog really supports Obama....
I just watched JOHN McCAIN give the opening remarks at the Clinton Global Initiative meeting today. #1 WHY the fuck is JOHN McCAIN giving the opening remarks at the CLINTON event, at all??

#2 McCain just delivered the "five point plan" regarding the Wall Street Crisis that called for accountability, no blank check, no golden parachutes etc etc ...In other Words the EXACT Things Barack Obama said a WEEK AGO while McSame was shitting his pants and screaming "off with his head" about the head of the SEC. Or was that the FEC?? If you think the MSM (including MSNBC won't be reporting his remarks like he just discovered the key to time travel, and relegating Obama to "oh he agrees with McCain" status but the end of the day I have a bridge in Alaska I'd like you to fund.

Bill Clinton just served up control of the news cycle to John McCain. He is too good at this NOT to know that that was what he was doing. It's one thing to allow McCain to speak at the event. I would expect nothing less form Bill's DLC loving ass. But to give him first ups? Please. Bill Clinton is officially a neo-con loving piece of shit. He has allowed his bruised ego to cause him to sell his party - and MUCH more importantly - his COUNTRY down the river. And I voted for him TWICE.

I got mighty queasy about the Big Dog during the Primaries with his less than team spirited remarks when his wife was losing the nomination. It is official; I am now throwing up all over the floor.

1. Its a bi-partisan cause that attracts many speakers.. McCain is just
using it as another free "look at me" speach... Clinton invites everyone.. AND McCain is still in the running.. if Clinton wants money for his cause, then he needs to keep the peace with all politicians.

7. You have got to be kidding me? You are Really justifying this?
As I said in the OP, having McCain SPEAK at the event as one of many (and maybe AFTER OBAMA perhaps????) is one thing, making him the LEAD is inexcusable. There is no way Bill Clinton didn't know what he was doing. For Christ's sake - he BILL FUCKING CLINTON, the best politician the Democratic party has seen in 40 or 50 years and the best politician the nation has seen in nearly 30 years.

The Big Dog just fired a torpedo at the Obama Campaign. Hopefully Obama will rip his rhetorical balls off.

3. He doesn't
His appearance the other night on The Daily Show was horrifying. He seemed to be reluctant to speak of anything but him and Hillary, and gave the impression of a kid doing detention because of some transgression.

Finally, begrudgingly, he said, "I think Obama will win."

He "thinks."

I wish again that he'd either get out there and bust his ass for Obama or shut the fuck up and go quietly.

5. This is why I was an "Anybody but Clinton" voter during the Dem Primary
The Clintons are narcissists. They can't stand being out of the limelight. Obama's primary win began the lights going out on the Clintons. Obama's win in November will cement it.

17. I have issues with Obama too, but the Clintons are showing every Dem their true colors
Back in 2003 at Sen. Harken's steak fry, Bill Clinton warned Dean and Dean supporters that they could vote with their hearts in the primary but had to vote with their heads in the general election. Unlike Bill Clinton today, Howard Dean relentlessly campaigned for John Kerry after losing the 2004 Dem Primary. Bill needs to heed his own advice to Dean supporters.

8. You ALWAYS have to have people from both sides of the partisan line. That's how DC works.
At least if you want to get something done.

It's not the Democrats' Global Initiative.

14. Mookie wake up. We have an ELECTION to win.
The election is a choice between two CANDIDATES. You can't vote for "bi-partisan." After we WIN, we can be conciliatory and work with all sides. Until then this is time for Bill Clinton to put his big boy pants on and leave his bruised ego at home. That or stay the fuck home and shut the fuck up. I am SICK of Bill Clinton. I never though I would say this but Hillary is actually acting MORE mature than Bill these days.

As I said in the OP, having McCain SPEAK at the event as one of many (and maybe AFTER OBAMA perhaps????) is one thing, making him the LEAD is inexcusable. 21. I was not addressing whether of not we WILL win. I was addressing whether Bill is helping
He clearly is NOT. And inviting Bush to the NAACP when he ISN'T RUNNING for President is a very different thing. And notice he ignored NAACP when he was running? Funny that - but that is totally off topic...

Bush and the NAACP is not relevant to this discussion. Bill Clinton is the brightest political mind of his generation and he HANDED McCain control of the news cycle... all he needed to do to avoid that was have Obama speak before McCain. Are you seriously telling me you don't think he knew what he was doing? That doesn't pass the common sense test.

16. Perhaps.. But he DIDN'T hang him self.
For the first time during the last two weeks he actually sounded reasoned and intelligent. Now I know its bull shit. I know McCain is likely in the early stages of Alzheimer's but it doesn't appear that way in this leading position speech at the CLINTON Global Initiative. Bill Clinton is too smart to make a "mistake" of this magnitude.

Bill Clinton is a traitor to his party and is risking this nation as far as I am concerned.

15. Clinton pulled this stunt with his book tour
in 2004. I'm so sick of people not reading Bill. He hired Dick Morris and Mark Penn. End of story.
Props to Hillary she's proved she's the one with grace and integrity.
