2. Our Elder Statesman!

Ted Kennedy has reached an impressive status of the true Elder Statesman of progressive democratic politics. I think that it's fair to say that for a variety of reasons, he had never been considered as having nearly the respect of brothers John and Robert, although he clearly had the greater grasp of the Senate as an institution. But he is SO GOOD now! I honestly believe that the spirit of his brothers is working through him today.
