Bobby Jindal in Iowa - Race for 2012 Begins
Hard to believe this much time has passed already since the 2008 presidential election. But here we are only 37 months away from the Iowa caucuses. And only 32 months till the Ames Straw Poll.

And here goes Louisiana Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal speaking at a fundraiser for the Iowa Family Policy Center at the Sheraton Hotel in West Des Moines. He proceeded to talk some about his chief executive work back home in Louisiana, a kind of political introduction and plenty of mingling with the audience.

1. Public financing of elections should be on the agenda now.
The perpetual campaign is not how to run this country. Biden's chief of staff that is taking the senate seat said it best. He won't campaign for 2010 so he can represent the people of Delaware.

5. Public financing would be a true "game changer" and now is the time to
push for it!

2. One wonders if "the base" will really take to him in a big way; he isn't
even "half American" like Obama (from the wingnut perspective), and would there be a phony birth certificate "scandal" with him as well?
