Was Bush’s NSA Surveillance Watching Me? |
|
We learned on Keith Olbermann’s Countdown last night that the illegal NSA wiretap program was far more widespread than reported, and certainly more widespread than the Bushies admitted to. I’m an ordinary citizen who, by virtue of publicly criticizing Bush, just might have been a target. How do I find that out? I expect few answers. http://allspinzone.com/wp/2009/01/22/was-bushs-nsa-surveillance-watching-me/

3. Crosses imply too much respect |

We can't let them pretend to be martyrs, after all.

2. The truth about this program is just beginning to be known. |
|
If Bush was watching the reporters and media, he was also watching other groups.
How about the ACLU? How about the Democrats in Congress? (Could this explain their lack of oversight?)
I think the shit is going to hit the fan on the Bush Administration. His close insiders may keep their mouths shut, but others won't. And there are enough "others" to begin putting the pieces of the puzzle together. When those closer to Bush realize they are about to be involved, they will talk to protect themselves, because Bush isn't in a position to do anything for them now.
I think 2009 will be an interesting year...we're going to learn a lot about Bush and how his "mis-administration" worked.

If your actions were an impediment to Bush getting what he wanted, you would have gotten a call blackmailing you. Or you would have been set upon by the DOJ if you lived in a district where the political appointees held sway.

7. their nsa dragnet that targeted all electronic communications in the US |
|
could mean, for instance, that if you had a website, or communicate through your website, or communicate electronically in an unusual way, esp. with anyone the bush admin could have considered "the opposition" i.e. (registered democrats, activists, environmentalists, creative artists, labor activists, activist lawyers, etc.) the NSA could have used a bot to look for certain "domestic threat" words and monitor all "activity" on your website.
And as Demgrl was writing, looking (per the MO of karl rove) for potentially embarrassing information or connections for more prominent individuals. Then when, say, a court rules that the domestic spying is illegal, that monitoring activity that shows up in your stats for a year, for instance, suddenly stops.
again I reiterate widespread NSA domestic surveillance is nothing new,but bush made it a true dictators dream... monitoring ALL domestic opposition and their connections, nothing to do with terrorism. It'll come out.
sorry about the grammar!
