Anti-Choice Activists Become Cheerleaders for Death of Children

Whack jobs on the extremist anti-choice front who are saying “I told you so” concerning that plane crash in Butte, MT last week. Many of the people who tragically died, including children, were related to Irving Feldkamp, who owns a business that provides abortions. The whack jobs are going all “Fred Phelps” all over the internet now.

2. Well, they haven't involved God. . .
at least not with an attendent "Nyah, nyah." So they're not really blaspheming.

13. Christian is as Christians do
The Jesus of the Gospels wouldn't be too happy with his "followers" but the majority of them seem to go along with every evil thing imaginable, so that's what "Christian" means now.

7. Words fail me
How can anyone, regardless of politics, celebrate the deaths of innocent children???

8. The Bible's replete with "righteous" slaughter of children...
e.g. God sending the angel of death for Egyptian first-born, Moses' and Joshua's slaughters, Sodom and Gomorrah, Noah's flood. Not surprising if revering such wicked stories leads people to accept the idea that children of people they deem bad deserve to die.

10. Not to mention God sending a bear to kill children who made fun of a man.
If only fundies actually read the Bible, they would see it's full of carnage, hate, and death.

14. Me too.
And it was a Lutheran school. The little sobs would sit in church every Sunday, figure that they were forgiven, and be as mean as possible during the rest of the time.

16. I've also heard from fundamentalists that...
Edited on Tue Mar-31-09 04:02 PM by burning rain
Joshua and his merry band of Israelites did right to slaughter all the children of Jericho (never mind the adults), since they were being raised as heathens, and being killed before maturity allowed them to to go to Heaven rather than Hell.

It is really a unique mindset...

12. Right to Life is
really about enslaving women. The "that'll teach them" angle should not surprise anyone.

15. I know
I've felt that way from the beginning. "Right to life" is really just a way to put women in our "place."

But still, celebrating the death of children is a horrible thing to do.

18. "Do you think any of their church's will ban them...?"
It's usually their churches that teach them to think that way.

Ban them? Praise them and hold them up as shining examples, more likely!

(Remember the red-state pastor that kicked anyone who didn't vote for Bush out of his church in '04?)
