The Philadelphia Inquirer published a column by an alum of St. Joseph’s University — the whine is about Chris Matthews as a commencement speaker when he also holds pro-choice views. The column’s author, Chris Majewski, finds biblical justification for Matthews’ punishment. He showed those Notre Dame alums a thing or two, eh?

From first through third grades, I attended Catholic school. We had our catechisms for religious instruction; that was all. During the fourth grade, I transferred to a public school. In honor of my first day, the teacher selected me to read the morning psalm (Psalm 23?). It was the first time I had ever seen a bible, let alone read one!
