Waste Management 1674 Subsidiaries, Houston Texas, Think Green “MONOPOLY MONEY”
Waste Management 1674 Subsidiaries, Houston Texas, Think Green “MONOPOLY MONEY”

In 2000 Waste Management had 1674 Subsidiaries based in Houston Texas Thinking Green as in MONEY!!!! Monopolizing, killing unions to cut cost, cut cost is more profits for the CEO and Big Boys as workers have less insurance, pensions and wages. They have moved silently into every part of the US and world. Subsidiaries hide the true size of this company.

Has you disposal rate gone down? Well it should because they have cut away the Insurance benefits, Pensions and Hourly Wages of its hired help and moved those profits to the CEO and others. Millions in Tax Dollars has gone to Waste Management from the Bush administration then in turn they buy other companies forming a Monopoly.

1. No, my disposal rate has not gone down.
In fact it has gone up. I am a customer of WM. Back in 1998 when I started using the service, I was paying much less than what I'm paying now. They bill you ever quarter. At first the bill was like believe their rate was around $42 but now I'm paying $58.

2. Have your rates gone down?
They have cut a three man truck for picking up garbage with monster garbage cans picked up hydraulically. Now a one man truck dose the same job with a enormous amount of less injuries, that brings down the cost of insurance. Did your garbage rate go down because they saved hundreds of millions? They have gone non union cutting benefits and wages, have your rates gone down?

6. No, they haven't gone down.
But they haven't switched to the monster garbage cans yet in my area. There are still three men on the trucks.

3. Is there even ONE SINGLE ANGLE these fuckers have overlooked to screw the workers and
enrich themselves?

More disgusting corporate behavior that only further validates my hatred of mega-corps.

4. 25 years ago they went by BFI
Friend of mine went to work for them as a truck mechanic, from a regional LTL carrier. He told me then "These guys must be the Mafia! Nobody else could waste this kind of money and stay in business."

5. sick bastards
waste management is a critical part of our infrastructure. The people who work in the disposal of our waste are silent heroes. it infuriates me to hear how they're being treated at WM Inc.

are there any companies left that treat their employees with respect, fair wages, *encouraging* them to join unions, compassionate benefits?

There is something very wrong with the economic model of too many corporations. Too much greed. To much selfishness. Too much callousness. It will lead to the eventual downfall of our civilization.
