Was George Bush on a Mission From God in Iraq?
No, it was just Donald Rumsfeld, pretending to be Charlton Heston pretending to be God. One of those “known unknown” kind of things. There’s a blockbuster story in GQ, with pictures of the covers of secret reports that Rumsfeld emblazoned with verses from the Bible. Comparing the Iraq war to the crusades, though, is wrong.

2. Of course he was, it was the God he kept in his underpants!
It spoke to him and told him what to do, how to hide the booze in the toilet tank so Laura wouldn't find it, how to say silly things so that stupid people would be disarmed and find the dipshit charming, how to make stuff up when he didn't have the facts, and how to delegate all that pesky decision making to Cheney and Rummy, so he'd have more time to fall off the couch watching tee vee.

3. Voice Of God Revealed To Be Cheney On Intercom

Telephone logs recorded by the National Security Agency and obtained by Congress as part of an ongoing investigation suggest that the vice president may have used the Oval Office intercom system to address President Bush at crucial moments, giving categorical directives in a voice the president believed to be that of God.

While journalists and presidential historians had long noted Bush's deep faith and Cheney's powerful influence in the White House, few had drawn a direct correlation between the two until Tuesday, when transcripts of meetings that took place in March and April of 2002 became available.

In a transcript of an intercom exchange recorded in March 2002, a voice positively identified as the vice president's identifies himself as "the Lord thy God" and promotes the invasion of Iraq, as well as the use of torture in prisoner interrogations.

A close examination of Bush's public statements and Secret Service time logs tracking the vice president reveals a consistent pattern, one which links Bush's belief that he had received word from God with Cheney's use of the White House's telephone-based intercom system.

Officials privately acknowledged that there is reason to believe that the vice president, as God, urged Bush to sign legislation benefiting oil companies in 2005.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.

14. This was how Prezdent Dipshit was controlled and manipulated.
Recipe for a National Disaster:
Take one sociopathic rich boy ne'er-do-well with substance abuse problems and daddy issues;
Add a generous helping of personal manifest destiny;
Mix in family ties to the CIA/Intelligence operatus, the Military Industrial Complex and the Texas Petroleum Mafia;
Bake all the above in a liquor-sotted mind; and
Supply multiple visual aids suggesting divine providence.
