Green Cows Belch Less!!!
'Cows across Vermont are having their feed adjusted to help them belch less methane, a potent heat-trapping gas that has been linked to climate change.'

12. Holstein Cattle.

I saw The Great Eddy Arnold yodel and croon about these lovely beasts at "The Corn Palace" in Mitchell South Dakota, 1974. Sa-Lute!

Here's an action video of the Moo Moos with the sweet voice of Eddie in the audio track. :-) :silly:

13. makes sense
Feeding cows corn is like a diet of snickersbars. It's also a reason why they get fed so many antibiotics - because they cant digest the corn very well.

Going to a natural grass feed is better (lower amount of fertilizer (oil) for the corn), more healthy (less drugs for the cows), and better more natural beef. Oh, but it means smaller farms are more suited for this because you need land (grass). Big corporate farms want high density -so they do it the "un-natural" way.

14. belching less methane?
I was always under the impression that methane (along with other noxious gases) came from the OTHER end of the cow...

????

Are these beautiful lovely peaceful critters actually farting through their teeth?

:scared:
