Rep. Thaddeus McCotter writes resolution demanding President Obama apologize
Excerpt from article. Read entire article here and see the video.

McCotter said he wrote the resolution to prevent a precedent from being set giving too much power to the president of the United States. "It's not a precedent that should be set by the most powerful person in the world."

"As a separate but equal branch of the government we have to be a check upon the overuse of the power of the president and the president, the most powerful person in the world should not have put Officer Crowley in this situation after admitting bias, a lack of facts and prejudging this incident."

One has to wonder where the noble McCotter was during the Bush administration when the president took it upon himself to declare a war against Iraq with a lack of factual evidence and prejudging the situation.

2. I really hope this circus ends on Thursday with President Obama
shaking hands, having a beer and putting the latest media distraction away.

You know the media still has about another 15-20 rounds of the tea bagger/birther movement to have to deal with.

TeaBirthers?

What a major league clown.

He says that he "wrote it in his garage"

Probably used just one hand too...

What is it with these clowns?

Do they send them to a special school to be this freaking stupid?

I hope he's the next one caught with his pants around his ankles.
Albeit with his cue-ball head, I doubt that's not going to happen soon.

10. He was squirming like a worm. And he got off easily...
Now we learn more about Crowley and his media cover story is blowing up.

"Send in more cars!" to help arrest the disabled professor.

And the witness did not call Gates "black" yet Crowley lied and said she did. He even lied about speaking to her outside.

A President has to defend the Constitution and Crowley was violating it!

4. Proof that this country has gone insane. Truth is ir-relevant. Just say whatever you can get away
with.

And the party that is sooooooooooooooo close to God that they elected God's President to bring about The Second Coming leads the way to a Hell in which nothing means anything at all. You can repeat anything often enough and it will be true. Any and all answers are right. What you do does not matter, because we're all saved by jesus and you can buy salvation.

5. Inspiring -
the racism that's behind all of this crap has driven the crazies to new and higher levels of goofiness.

Anyone who thought the election of a half-black, half-white President was some sort of indication that we'd reached a point in our country where racism was on its way down has to sit back and re-think that wish.

It's never waned, and, in fact, it seems to be bigger and worse than ever.

No lynchings, but all sorts of other ways to show the bigotry.

My America. It makes me sad. I really expected some improvement from when I was growing up half a century ago, but I see so little, it's almost as bad as none.................................

6. Did this dickhead demand an apology from Bush when he made that
joke about looking for WMD in the White House? No? Then I'm not too concerned about a bill whose only purpose is to score political points for Republicans. Kill it in committee.

If Democrats had demanded apologies from Bush for every poorly worded statement he made in 8 years, nothing else would have gotten done. Which, come to think of it, might not have been a bad thing.

7. I am ashamed
that in the 21st we have people like McCotter and Foxx, etc.. representing the people in the Congress. We (the U.S.) are too old to be acting like immature, irresponsible teenagers.

8. Evidently McCotter thinks presidents forfeit their First Amendment rights.
Jackass. On Hardball he admitted he didn't know which, if any, House committee his little measure had been referred to. Posturing putz.
