Bob Cesca: Malkin and Fox News Are Stalking Children Again
Bob Cesca
August 12, 2009

Michelle Malkin and Fox News Channel have finally blown the lid off the biggest conspiracy of our time. No, it's not the one about how the Obama administration is going to take over your computer, banish white people to FEMA camps, poison your tap water, murder your special needs children and strangle your grandmother with its government robot claws ("http://www.huffingtonpost.com/bob-cesca/republicans-lying-to-old_b_247400.html">because they're made of metal and robots are strong").

It's a brand new conspiracy involving President Obama and an 11-year-old girl. The plot? To ask a question at a town hall meeting.

Scary. Run for your lives and all that.

Rewind to Tuesday afternoon when an 11-year-old girl asked President Obama a question about the "mean things" she observed on various protest signs outside. http://mediamatters.org/blog/200908120003">Malkin and other wingnuts swooped into action, investigating and exposing the girl's parents as -- shock, horror! -- supporters of the president. The girl's parents even donated some money and volunteered on the campaign.

Mind blowing, I know. It's like the Donald Sutherland scene in JFK.

Any guesses how long this "news" channel is going to last?

2. Where's the outrage from Sarah Palin?
I mean, this isn't even a child of a public figure! This is a child of a private citizen!

But then, they must feel almost comfortable in a fight they must feel they have a chance to win ... against an 11-year-old girl ... well, maybe if she were physically disabled and confined to a wheelchair, and restrained ... then they might feel like the fight would be fair ...

3. It's just tit for tat.
They aren't attacking the girl.

They are just making an argument that we're hypocrites for calling them staged astroturf, then asking a question to an 11 year old bused in from out of state who's mother was enough of a big shot in her state Obama organizing machine she was invited to and attended an Obama inauguration Ball among other things. She's obviously not just any old Obama supporter.

Don't make more of it than it is.
