Hatred and Ignorance are the main features of the teabaggers
http://blog.buzzflash.com/interviews/163

Jenny was a healthy 24-year-old pregnant mother this summer. Now she was dead, along with her unborn child, both symbols of the failure of our country's healthcare system.

But when Midge told the story to the people gathered at the town hall meeting, she was jeered, mocked and laughed at. They didn't believe her, or didn't care. Midge still told Jenny's story, and her bravery shines in a YouTube video of the event, which now clocks in at well over 100,000 views and functions as a symbol of what the tea party movement has become.

...

Telling this story of horrifying loss was hard enough for Midge, but she was mostly astonished by the group's total lack of compassion:

"How they could not know I was devastated, I'll never know."

Enter the Internet

But despite the hurtful jeering, she stayed through the whole 3-hour town hall meeting. Little did she know that this was just the beginning of the backlash.

The organizer of a splinter group called the Chicago Tea Party Patriots, Catherina Wojtowicz, insisted that the story was a fake, calling the couple "Obama operatives" in an e-mail. Even after a local paper verified Jenny's story, she hounded the Houghs with hateful e-mails and insisted that their story was an "isolated incident" that shouldn't have any bearing on the healthcare debate.

Best to know the level of evil and depravity we're up against. Will we ever fight back?

1. The hatred, ignorance, racism, and bigotry of the teabaggers is
why I believe anyone using that term in a derrogatory manner against another DUer should be TS on the spot, but that's just me.

2. eeeeeee
I've been called a freeper, troll, teabagger, randian, and "viper douchebag" all by my fellow DUers.

Seems like name callin' never goes out of fashion.

I do believe they were not using those terms in a friendly manner (nor a very informed manner :P).

What a world, what a world. It's not easy being green.

3. You also called yourself a plutocrat, proudly, in an interaction you had with me.
I'll never forget it. And no, I'm not "stalking" you.

7. and I am a plutocrat but also a pluralist
so now whatcha gotta say?

You had been so willing to judge based on nearly zero facts other than your own conclusions that it invalidated the gravity of your opinion sometimes. I have seen better posts from you since those days, so here's to keeping it civil.

4. This is what evil is
These people are a representation of what it is to loose one's ability to empathise with other human beings due to unthinking obedience to a belief system that lacks anything positive. Total abdication of thought, robots.

8. Rec! Most of them would not hate,
if they were not so ignorant. It's pretty clear that the propaganda outlets serve to promote ignorance on a massive scale.

9. I keep telling you
they are the new version of the KKK. Put it together they stand for the same things the KKK does. Even done to trying to incite someone to do away with the president.
