..but the only GOP Health Care plan costed by CBO (that I know of) cuts deficit LESS than either Dem plan & adds 3 million to number insured...that's right. It reduces the deficit $68 billion over 10 yrs versus the House Dems plan deficit reduction of $104 Billion and insures an additional whole 3 million versus 37 million for the Dems plan(s).

http://cbo.gov/ftpdocs/107xx/doc10705/hr3962amendmentBoehner.pdf">CBO report to John Boehner

"According to CBO and JCT’s assessment, enacting the amendment would result in a net reduction in federal budget deficits of $68 billion over the 2010–2019 period."

"By 2019, CBO and JCT estimate, the number of nonelderly people without health insurance would be reduced by about 3 million relative to current law, leaving about 52 million nonelderly residents uninsured."

The Democrats Senate bill would, according to the CBO, reduce the deficit $130 Billion over 10 years and insure an additionnal 31 million people.

"According to CBO and JCT’s assessment, enacting the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act would result in a net reduction in federal budget deficits of $130 billion over the 2010–2019 period (see Table 1)."
