Broder's *senior moments* are getting more frequent than Gumpy ole Grampa McCain's. Put 'em both out to pasture for good.

6. I don't hear the tone of populism, the pitch is a toxic mix of hatred, ignorance and delusion |
|
Edited on Thu Feb-11-10 08:17 AM by ixion
but there's no REAL populism at all.

Welcome to the era of lowered expectations.
They ll keep on telling us this is as good as it gets - even as they nudge us ever closer to the complete idiocy of a captive populace.
As for me, my credulity was stretched to the breaking point a long time ago. Here's hoping, though hoping is the wrong word, that a similar breaking point occurs to the rest of Amerika.
More sooner than later, preferably.

9. Broder lost his mind and credibility |
|
a while back. He should stop putting the contents of his Depends in a newspaper column. Palin is a nut and Broder is one of her enablers.

11. Newspapers could save themselves a lot of money |
|
by soliciting opinions from random assholes on the street, then paying proofreaders to clean up the syntax to make it comprehensible...but that's not part of the corporate media's agenda. For all Broder's years of journalism school and long, well-paid career, he's more out-of-touch than practically anyone on this board with how Americans are truly feeling. After making enough money to afford houses in the same tony suburbs & McMansions as the scumbags in power, successful opinion journalists have come to identify with the powerful scumbags - their neighbors - than with ordinary people. Of course, this works out well for the corporate media, who want RW propaganda foisted upon us all.

13. Broder should be evaluated for dementia. He used to genuflect at the name of Kissinger. |
|
He's always been a power junkie, and now he's just an old man who thinks he has the power to wag the dog from its penis. Dementia, I tell you.
