So I'm watching Face The Nation, not something I do much anymore because I have no need to listen to damage control propaganda from either party, but here's Colin Powell, the Republican defender of Barack Obama. I'm listening to him and I think, this is mostly stuff that so many people at Democratic Underground say:

Don't tear down Barack Obama,

Barack Obama made health care too big an issue,

The Democrats are TOO FAR LEFT,

We have grid lock,

Americans want to see COMPROMISE,

Give him time,

One man can't change Washington!

What a crock of fucking HORSE SHIT!

Is THERE A FUCKING MINORITY PARTY? You would never know listening to these fucks!

Republicans are NOT THE PROBLEM, DEMOCRATS ARE!

How does a minority party hold America hostage? How many Democrats are on the take INCLUDING BARACK OBAMA? DOESN'T ANYONE REMEMBER THE LAST EIGHT FUCKING YEARS? WHAT DID A DEMOCRATIC MINORITY ACCOMPLISH? HUH, I CAN'T HEAR YOU? I couldn't listen to this insider fuck blabber about how America didn't elect someone to be A FUCKING DEMOCRAT!

1. Please document proof of your accusations.

If Barack Obama is on the take...document proof and demand he be impeached for bribery.

Then take the advise of a great, liberal, 1960's spiritual adviser to my generation.

4. "Document" Please! So You Think Barack isn't Under Lobbyist Influence?

I'll go get that newspaper article with the photo copy of the check to "President Barack Obama from Pharma". Lobbys, lobbys, lobbys! Hell, the insurance industry was the first place Barack went for suggestions on reform! Mandate private insurance?! Brilliant!

5. Every elected official is under the "influence." It is one of the flaws in our system.

But on the take is a much more serious accusation. The phrase "on the take" means "Someone who is stealing from work is on the take.." Please show evidence of illegal theft. If not, choose your words more carefully because that behavior would be a "high crime or misdemeanor" far more heinous than getting a blow job in the White House.

2. I watched that also and he sure spent

a lot of the time toward the end giving credit to BushCo. Bush started TARP, which Obama followed. Bush sent troops to Afghanistan, which Obama followed, etc. He is a Republican and Republicans stink.
