Abu Dhabi sovereign fund chief missing

The managing director of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Sheikh Ahmed bin Zayed al Nahyan, has been reported missing after a plane crash, according to international newspapers.

UK newspapers including the Times and the Telegraph reported that Sheikh Ahmed's glider crashed into a lake in Morocco on 26 March.

The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) official website did not contain any information regarding the accident nor the search.

WAM, the Emirates News Agency that first reported the accident, said the pilot was rescued and is in good condition. However, the search is still on for the missing sovereign fund chief.
