... What is not understandable or acceptable to us is the vengeful and retaliatory actions by some towards our elected officials who voted for the health care bill.

There have been death threats, threats of bodily harm, racist comments and personal insults leveled at Congressmen who have a lifelong legacy of faithfully serving our country.

America is a great democracy and you have the right to make your voices heard, to vote your conscience on election day, but you do not have the right to turn your opinion into violence, real or threatened, toward those who have an opinion different than your own.
