Franklin Graham, the Christian evangelist and son of Billy Graham, offered an explanation for the suspicions that some people have about President Obama's religion, during an appearance Thursday night on CNN.

"I think the president's problem is that he was born a Muslim, his father was a Muslim. The seed of Islam is passed through the father like the seed of Judaism is passed through the mother. He was born a Muslim, his father gave him an Islamic name," Graham told John King. "Now it's obvious that the president has renounced the prophet Mohammed and he has renounced Islam and he has accepted Jesus Christ. That's what he says he has done, I cannot say that he hasn't. So I just have to believe that the president is what he has said."

2. From what I can tell...

It is OK to bear false witness about whomever you want or whatever group you want as long as you are an American Christian...Our society today allows Christian leaders to say some of the most disgusting things about people, lie about American History & Science without much blow back.


It seems the loudest voices in opposition are those of Atheist/Agnostic Groups which is a shame because they are easily brushed aside as just "Angry Atheist"...After all this group of people are the most hated, mistrusted & feared group in America today.

I wonder how far the American People are willing to go toward a Theocracy before there is a sizable opposition that says no more? Or if there will ever be a strong orchestrated push back?
