1. Changes In The Media Are Our Only Hope

You can't expect the media owners to cut the support out from under their own legs so I'm not holding my breath for any changes soon. But corporate ownership of *news* media is wrong.

So what are alternative solutions that will provide a full-spectrum of information, reward hard-hitting journalists, and encourage follow-up. Our democracy won't work until our "leaders" are held accountable to the full extent by public awareness.

This is probably the greatest failure by the framers of our constitution because it just may be the one tool that allows it to be torn to pieces.
