Ohio’s Anti-Union Law Is Tougher Than Wisconsin’s
While both laws severely limit public employees’ ability to bargain collectively — they both prohibit any bargaining over health coverage and pensions — the Ohio law largely eliminates bargaining for the police and firefighters. Wisconsin’s law leaves those two groups’ bargaining rights untouched. Ohio’s law also gives city councils and school boards a free hand to unilaterally impose their side’s final contract offer when management and union fail to reach a settlement.

1. But Wisconsin sucked up all the protest and drama.
Not much emotion left to help stop the other states.

I kinda wonder if that wasn't the plan all along.

9. So?
I hope we are not sitting down and relying on the right wing media to set the agenda for us. We have blogs, TV networks, commentators are support our cause. Its time for these people to get to work, stop waiting for Faux to cover it before we pay attention

4. And when we, the working class, failed to respond to the attack and instead put our faith in the
courts, we lost. Now, the question becomes if the democrats win in the next election cycle will they overturn the republican victory against workers? My bet is no, they won't.

5. Ah, that would be a "no". There will be massive numbers of People...
...in the Steets of Madison Saturday, Sunday and Monday (election is Tuesday).

I expect there will also be protests in Columbus, Lansing, Augusta, Tallahassee and countless other cities and towns across America.

10. I believe the people of Ohio can put this on the ballot if they get about 200,000
signatures and overturn it in November. They have three months to get the necessary signatures. Wisconsin doesn't have that option. They do however have recall, which may make all the difference.
