Spring Recess critical for Democrats to reclaim narrative
Time for Democrats to drop the catchy slogans and catch phrases and reach out to people with the truth, facts and history in the fight against the GOP BS machine.

The conservatives have kicked our asses for the past two years on one thing, narrative. They have been unified in their regurgitation of their myths, birthers, Obamacare, Death Panels, High Speed Rail from Disneyland to brothels in Las Vegas. All of their rehetoric was based in complete nonsense, but their consistency and cohesion made that rhetoric reality for many in this country, and it cost us control of the House and a stronger control of the Senate.

During this recess, Democrats need to be talking, all the time, to anyone who will listen, sharing what the GOP rhetoric has meant in legislation thus far, and what it will mean if we don't turn the tide...

2. The one true Constant in politics: He who controls the narrative
wins. This is true for elections. It is true when issues
are being debated.

He who controls the narrative controls the win.

5. K&R - keep up the positive thinking
I'm old enough to remember the lies from Nixon onward and have watched as both sides have let this country slide down and down. We all hoped that Pres. Obama would have the courage to change the direction. Instead, he's just been a henchman for the wealthy and has left me all hoped out. The country needs more people like you. Keep up the good work and try to affect positive change.
