Senator Randy Hopper Angers Fond du Lac (WI) Crowd By Not Answering Questions

It is great to see folks getting angry over there in a RED part of Wisconsin---soon to turn blue or at least enough purplish to run Walker poodle Hopper out of office (He is on the agenda for the Wisconsin Summer of Recalls)

VIDEO at first link....

Hopper: “If (you) want to clap, we will let you finish clapping,” Hopper said. “If you want to scream ‘shame,’ we’ll let you scream ‘shame.’”

A short “shame” chant then broke out

from the northwestern: “Several people in a crowd of about 200 displayed anger and dismay Monday night when state Sen. Randy Hopper, R-Fond du Lac, said a listening session would not involve answers from him.

..............Hopper began the session by criticizing media for presenting the proposed budget as already being enacted, noting changes can be made with the input of citizens.

Michael Hochrein, a recreational supervisor at Taycheedah Correctional Institution (TCI) and the first person to speak, asked why Hopper would support removing collective bargaining rights from correctional officers.

When Hochrein finished, there were yells from the crowd demanding that Hopper address the question.

“I’m not going to be commenting and we’re not going to take questions,” Hopper said. “I’m here to listen to you today.”

Hopper’s announcement was met with shouts of “Shame,” “You’ve never answered anything,” “You’re out of here” and “What the hell is the point of this?”......................................

3. So a retired worker says he worked for his benefits, but doesn't
seem to think teachers are working for theirs? What has changed from when he worked to how those are working now to make him think this is going on?

"Kind said. “I’m 87 years old.
Along the way, I am at fault. I let the government run the way they wanted to. I didn’t speak up early enough. We should have been saying, ‘Hey, you can’t spend any more than what you’re taking in.’”

Kind said the teachers union is wrong about taking a loss. He said they would be contributing just like he had in the past.

“I worked for Mercury Marine. I got a salary and I wanted a pension. I had to work for that pension,” Kind said. “I just don’t understand it. I don’t want my tax money used to support their health bill or pension when I had to pay for my own.”

6. The recalls in Wisconsin will present the opportunity for working people to run for office instead
relying on traditional liberals to represent their interests and concerns. Come on Wisconsin workers throw your hats in the ring and RUN for office.

7. He's a Republic - plenty of talking points, but no answers.
What did these people expect? The entire platform is nothing but slogans and ideals (not ideas). Unicorns and fairy dust. But not the gay kind.
