Easter Reflections:Is The Holy Spirit A Guarantor Of Palin's Eventual Election As President ?
04/21/11 | M.Joseph Sheppard

That Sarah Palin has the indwelling Holy Spirit is a given ; IT IS CONSIDERED ALL CHRISTIANS HAVE THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT BY THE FACT THEY ARE BAPTISED WITH WATER AND LIVING IN A STATE OF GRACE, ESPECIALLY IF THEY HAVE ACCEPTED JESUS AS THEIR PERSONAL SAVIOUR. Is the fact of this indwelling sufficient in itself to guarantee the end destination for Palin-should that be what she seeks, her election as President of The United States? Lets look at what the indwelling Baptism in the Spirit gives to a believer to see what the answer might be; SPIRIT BAPTISM GIVES ONE CHARISMATIC POWER TO BE AN EFFECTIVE WITNESS OR EVANGELIZER IN BUILDING THE KINGDOM (8 Acts.1:8-9 9 Luke.24:48-49).

THIS POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT ENABLES US TO BECOME EFFECTIVE. THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS IMPARTED NOT JUST TO ENABLE US TO LIVE THE CHRISTIAN LIFE, BUT TO ENABLE US TO DO A VIBRANT AND EFFECTIVE MINISTRY. IT IS THE POWER FOR MISSION. THE BAPTISM IN THE SPIRIT EXPANDS OUR VISION, STIRS OUR HEARTS TO ACTION, SUSTAINS US WITH PERSEVERANCE, EMPOWERS US WITH SPIRITUAL GIFTS, AND FILLS OUR HEARTS WITH GREAT JOY AS WE DO OUR MISSION.

***

Whether she wins or loses, that aspect will have happened for an incredible, positive good. I believe it would be the highest compensation for "having run the good race" and having lost, if that was the case. On the other hand if the opened door lead to not only the transformation of people's lives, but Palin winning the presidency, then she would have had a gift that has not been given to more than handful throughout history-to begin the work of bringing a country back to God.

For those of us who would see that result as the highest point of a life well lived we should, as John F.Kennedy said "bear any burden" and dedicate our time and skills to progressing, through the power of the indwelling Spirit in us, what we believe is God's plan, by supporting Sarah Palin's mission in any way we can.

1. She's never going to be elected president
more likely she is going to die in a shoot out with the ATF trying to defend her cults heavily armed compound.

PS. Sorry if this is not cool, but I can completely see this happening.

2. What does the phrase on that picture mean?
"With a prayer, God provided the flyover."

What does that mean? Is it talking about the birds in that picture? Why would someone pray for birds?

3. The stuff they say never makes any sense.
Maybe that just sounds sort of mushy and all religious to them, I mean it's got prayer, and God, and birds flying over, and....

Hell, I have no idea what it means.

4. My guess...from Googling it...is this:
The God and Country Family Festival in Nampa, Idaho, has had an Air Force flyover every year for the last forty years. However, this year the Air Force turned down the festival's flyover request. Courtesy of Hot Air. Why?

An Idaho community had secured an Air Force flyover for its local festival every year for more than 40 years, organizers say, but this year, the Air Force turned the request down over the festival’s religious focus.

The God and Country Family Festival in Nampa, Idaho, applied to the Pentagon for the flyover but was denied in an e-mail, board member Patti Syme told KTBV. Syme said the e-mail from a defense official informed her the Pentagon prohibited support of special interest groups.

A defense department official told FOX News the Air Force denied the request because it violates a Pentagon policy against supporting any event “that provides a selective benefit to any individual, group, or organization, including any religious or sectarian organization, ideological movement, political campaign or organization, or commercial enterprise, to include a shopping mall or motion picture promotion.”
