GOP debt plan enters next phase
After House Republicans took a beating at local town hall meetings during the spring recess, they announced that the privatization of Medicare would be pulled off the table in the upcoming debt debates.

Anyone who thinks this is the GOP simply listening to what the people want haven't followed GOP negotiating lately. It is their typical ask for everything, then seem generous when we give stuff back, and the people will applaud us even as we rob them of their future approach.

If we sit back and allow it to happen, it is as much our fault as anyone's.
