First GOP Debate shows clueless nature of the party
Even though the marquee names were missing that would have made it so much more entertaining, the GOP kicked off the campaign season last night in Greenville, SC with their first presidential debate.

A couple of things were established in this debate. First, it's still hard to believe Ron Paul gets along with anyone in Congress. He seemed like he showed up to the wrong event last night. Gary Johnson should step down now, he is completely out of his league. Rick Santorum is a tool, and will pander to fundamentalists and the Tea Party in hopes to ride the extremist ticket all the way home. Tim Pawlenty and Herman Cain seemed to be the most normal GOP candidates, though Cain may have some trouble with the good ol' boy GOP network.

Adding Gingrich, Palin, Huckabee, Romney, Trump and Daniels to this event would have been priceless, although pointless.

Score round one to anyone not involved in this debate.

2. And boy are they.....
This was a sad group. There are a number of things I agree with Ron Paul about, but there are too many things that I don't agree with to make him a viable candidate. The other 4 were just sad. You could get the same empty nonsense watching Faux Noise Network any night of the week.

Trump, Palin, Gingrich will be more amusing for me. Oh and I forgot Bachmann, the golden child of soundbites.
