The Wisconsin Supreme Court Crisis – Far More Serious Than The Ruling On Walker’s Anti-Collective Ba
Shirley Abramhson (? spelling) --the WI supreme court chief justice) did call out the majority (RWinger's especially Prosser) yesterday.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court Crisis – Far More Serious Than The Ruling On Walker’s Anti-Collective Bargaining Law - Rick Ungar - The Policy Page - Forbes

However, the decision of the Wisconsin Supreme Court revealed something far more shocking than the ruling which went against the supporters of collective bargaining. It revealed, by way of written opinion, a now ‘out in the open’ battle between the members of the court wherein the minority opinion bluntly and directly accused the majority of fudging the facts to reach the decision they had already determined they wanted to reach. The minority opinion further alleged that the majority was driven by political motives rather than the desire to deliver a fair and judicious opinion.

In the world of the law, this is beyond huge. This is gargantuan.

5. walker is going after home rule.
i think this will be his downfall. local officials will wake up to the fact they have no control over how they run their towns and counties.

the governor and his lackeys will have complete control over the entire state

6. Abolishing local governments is about as unAmerican as anything I can think of.
The local governments existed before the state and federal governments.

9. Thanks for posting.....
<snip>

However, the minority opinion issued yesterday in the Wisconsin Supreme Court did not charge mistaken application of law. The opinion charged perversion of the facts and the law to meet a desired result.

If this is true, this is court corruption at its absolute worst and the people of Wisconsin cannot permit this to stand.

<end snip>

Go get 'em Shirly! You are a treasure!!!!

10. They had precedent set by the Roberts court.
In Citizens United, he sent it back so it could be expanded and the court could consider corporate money. As originally filed they could not have made the ruling they did to open the floodgates of money.

11. This deserves a lot more DU luv
than it's gotten. It's really a pretty big deal. I dug into the responses over at Forbes. They were far more reasonable than one might have expected.
