New WMD claims in Iraq.
Now they're talking about WMD's being in the hands of terrorists in Iraq.

On CBS news website, there’s a video report available entitled, “7 GIs Killed, Hostage Demands”. But when you click on the link, nowhere in the video are the 7 killed GIs mentioned. What is mentioned is a new dimension to the war in Iraq. The news announcer says that Iraqi security officials suspect terrorists like Abu Musabal-Zarqawi are looking for weapons with a “wider reach”. Iraqi National Security Advisor, Muwaffaq Al-Rubaie is quoted as saying, “What could be bigger and larger psychological impact than using a weapon of mass destruction?”

Here we go again. It seems that we’re facing the WMD card again in Iraq, yet the new twist this time is that they’re in the hands of terrorists. And, once again, there is NO evidence whatsoever to support such claims. I find it very suspicious that CBS would use as bait the title, “7 GIs killed”, and have no mention of them in their report, but instead report on seemingly bogus WMD claims.

Here’s the link. Hope its still there when you go to see it.

3. Having WMD doesn't mean it's from Iraq...
Considering the fact that Bush has prolifereated nuclear material in North Korea, coupled with the fact that Iran and Pakistan now know the US is too bogged down in Iraq to mess with them, I find it highly likely groups in Iraq could obtain some sort of WMD that was not produced by Saddam Hussein.

I imagine that since Osama bin Laden has been allowed to regroup in the mountain of Afghanistan, he could have gotten his hands on something and shipped it to Iraq.
