After O'Neill, who blew the whistle on the Bush administration's insatiable appetite for the Iraq war, was roundly criticized by all the usual neo-conservative outlets -- The National Review, The Weekly Standard, NewsMax.com, World Net Daily, Rush Limbaugh.com, and Insight on the News -- he was exonerated and cleared of any wrongdoing.

What should be of concern is the leaking of the name of a CIA agent. That outing might eventually add another anonymous star on the CIA's Wall of Honor for employees killed in the line of duty.

Berger deserves his privacy in this matter and, beyond that, a chance to get his reputation back.
