from David Talbot http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2004/09/15/warren/print.htmlNot your average JFK conspiracy column. I don't believe we will ever know who killed JFK, but you have to be deaf, dumb and blind not to figure out who benefitted from it.

for what its worth, 3 years ago i was in Dallas at Dealey Plaza. I went to the exhibits at the school book depository and looked at the event as if i were Oswald.
You could see from the window the faint yellow circles on the road where the shots struck the president in his limosine as it sped away down the hill and around the curve.
I also walked down the street and stood on the spots looking at the trajectory and line of fire from the target's perspective.
Given that rifle, a poor bolt action box fed 5 round magazine, with a scope with poor eye relief I honestly don't see how one person could ever have done it.
Recently I talked to a former Marine sniper, ( a man with 47 confirmed kills in Vietnam ), and asked if he had given the tactical situation much thought as a targeting solution. He said it could not be done given that rifle from that angle. He said at least HE could not have done it.
It HAD to be a put up job involving a number of players... but I would not put it past Geroge Bush 41. Never did trust ex CIA spooks. Never did.
