Undermining Democracy
http://nftunderground.blogspot.com/2004/09/undermining-democracy.html

Conservatives are attempting to scare people away from voting in their own best interests by exploiting peoples' ignorance of culture, history, and current events. By their actions, they are actively undermining the Democratic process.

1. Finally a person who makes perfect SENSE! I was just saying this
the other day, that if people were allowed to vote again on whether they wanted to maintain the "Separation of Church and State," in America, I guarantee you they would say NO! I suggest those people experience what it is like to live in a dictatorship. I think there should be a poll about THAT! Ask that question and you'll be shocked that people, especially the black community, (I state this because blacks predominate support Bush only because they perceive him as a Christian, although they don't bother to look at his actions) would go right for limiting the rights of citizens for religion. It just amazes me. I think this is a byproduct of poor education and not teaching about American governing in schools. Forcing Christianity down the worlds throat is NOT a Christian value.

2. phonebanking for jesus
My wife and I voluneteered this past weekend for the Kerry campaign. Phone Banking. It was pretty scary what people are saying who are pro-Bush.

I actually had a lady say that she is voting for Bush because he is keeping God in the Constitution ...um...I don't think that god is in the constitution. In fact I am pretty sure the entire point of the constitution is to not have religeon be a factor in government!
