My take on the CBS document forgery controversy.

1. "Unwittingly, CBS may cost John Kerry votes ... "

Why "unwittingly"? This whole thing has the smell of a
choreographed dog-and-pony show done to defuse the issue
of Shrub's ANG service and cost Kerry votes. We even have
an "investigation" into it now. Does CBS commonly behave
in such a slipshod way when such sensitive issues are at
hand? How did they handle the Shit-Boat Veterans for Lies
"story"?

Just asking.

3. A quite legitimate question

Particularly whenever to run this story they killled a story on the origin of the forged Nigerian Yellowcake documents that helped Junior sell his war. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x857362. One wonders just how unwitting CBS was.

4. If it's Rovian, he screwed up. The controversy hurts Shrubby most.

I maintain that the fact that this controversy is out there replays every day the fact that there are doubts Shrubby acted honorably while in the guard. IMO, this continues to hurt Bush and help Kerry.
