This is Polk County (FL) Onlne's Bush Endorsement
Honest, it really is a Bush endorsement

....

But soon afterward, the president got off track and erred in taking America to war in Iraq without justification. He spurned diplomacy and coalition building, which would have taken time and patience and would have detracted from the image of the tough and resolute leader prepared to bomb away. Going it mostly alone in invading Iraq was needless, unwise and surely will result in disastrous consequences over the long haul.

The Congress sat by - timid, reticent, gutless - and let Bush have his way. American men and women have died in combat and many more will die because of Bush's choices.

Much of the world views America with disdain and distrust because of Bush's pre-emptive war with Iraq. Much of the Muslim world has been stirred against the United States, in part because of the perception that the U.S. is a bully seeking oil.

Bush's policies have energized terrorists and given them a focal point - Iraq - for their deeds. If he has a way out of this, he hasn't said, except to stay the course. We are most likely in a quagmire that will be years, perhaps decades, in the undoing.

1. Damn! All good reasons to support Bush, at least in Florida
Has to be something in the drinking water.

I just love the conclusion:

"We recommend the George Bush/Dick Cheney ticket, but we do so with the weakest of enthusiasm, for they have not served this country well. We trust that any survey of recommendations will list ours as the most reluctant.

Lest anyone think of us as cynical about the state of affairs in Washington, we assure them we are not. We are instilled with optimism because we know the pendulum swings both ways and, ultimately, Americans find their way back to more acceptable alternatives."

Maybe, but not with the help of these bozos.

Even when I edited a college paper I'd have been embarrassed to print something like that. What morans.
