This was a surprise. The paper said it could not endorse either candidate and took an entire page to say so. I hope the disgusted will not turn to Nader, and show how some Floridians are able or unable to think.

Third parties in general will always hold the potential to spoil elections in swing states. It could be the accumulated effect of left and right leaning third parties that could fragment the electorate and cause unexpected results. That's the nature of the Electoral College. Mainstream parties get a leg up on continuing to make third parties "fringe parties." Until federal election laws and the Electoral College is dealt with, then we will continue to see a system that suppresses third parties and stunt the development of a diverse political culture in the US.
