Plastic Surgery for Pets!

Botox? Collagen injections? Eye lifts? Sounds like just another day in a Beverly Hills clinic, right?

Not exactly! Los Angeles veterinarian ALAN SCHULMAN specializes in reconstructive surgeries for pampered pets. At the Animal Medical Center of Southern California, he's treated some of the most famous critters in Hollywood, and, as you might imagine, he's heard a lot of strange requests from owners. But the weirdest had to be the one who wanted "testicular implants" for their pooch.

"They're embarrassed for them in the dog park," Schulman explains to "The Insider"'s ANANDA LEWIS. "But basically we know what end of the leash is embarrassed -- and that's why we don't go ahead and do that."

"If you're watching the Golden Globes or you're watching the Oscars, I would pretty much tell you that 50 percent of the people who are presenters have walked through these doors first to take care of their pets," he says.

That can make for some kooky office visits -- which the honorable vet says he won't accommodate.

"Anything that's done to people could be done to your animals. There is that level of specialty out there. You have to know where to draw the line -- collagen or Botox implants -- we won't do those."
