What can we do to help O'Neill? The media have their marching orders... |
|
and this could get ugly real quick. I'll buy his book, send off some emails to my reps in congress...
What else? Is there some way to contact O'Neill to give him a word of support?
Our party must protect him. This is atrocious...only those leaks that make Bush look bad are investigated...damn I'm pissed off!!!!

2. I think we should contact the Presidential Candidates |
|
We should get them to say something about O'Neil and get the media to protect him so that they can have their story.

3. My most recent email to the Honorable(?) Sen. Kohl... |

Dear Herb,
I know how much trouble it is for you and your staff to keep up with the interests of your constituents. So, let me just suggest that you or one of your interns look at the CNN poll on the proportion of the population that thinks Mr. O'Neill is probably being honest when he says Bush desired the Iraq War from day one.
Once you have done that, please feel free to wet your finger, hold it in the air, and decide on how you should proceed in the interest of the citizens of Wisconsin and the nation.
Thanks,
J. XXXXXX Ph.D.

4. Writing letters to the editor might be most effective.. |
|
to create a public firestorm on the subject, reinforce the issues he has raised, and highlight any retribution going on against him.

We need to do what we can to keep this on the front burner. Letters to the editor might help but, just talking with co workers and buddies can be of help to. Keeping folks interested and talking about a subject is the seed of the firestorm that is needed.
