Why charge O'Neill? How many more bombshells are in the hands...

of high officials with the semblance of a conscience left?

My theory is that 9/11 was supposed to be big, just not that BIG. The players got played. As a result, I'll bet there are lots of secrets out there.

And remember how he begged Daschle not to investigate?

I'm telling you, O'Neill has them voiding bricks.

4. Not the book ---
-- if you couldn't get prior restraint for the Pentagon Papers, you're not gonna get prior restraint -- but the author.

Credibility attacks, etc. on the man. They can't go after the facts.

Ask yourself WWND (What would Nixon do?)

5. I'm not a big fan of Hillary Clinton, but can you imagine if she wrote a
chapter in the book? Would sales go through the roof, or WHAT?

7. Book ranked #1 at Amazon today
I don't see what Hillary would add, or why her comments would be relevant -- it's inside the Bush admin.

The book is not officially released as of today, but around 2 pm it was the #1 book at Amazon.com

6. Good! Charge him. Make a martyr out of the former CEO of Alcoa

You may personally dislike mega-corporations or not, O'Neill's credibility with a lot of respected conservatives is unimpeachable. They may not like what O'Neill did by going public, but it will cause one helluva internal fight if Bush tries to prosecute him.

We may about to see the battle of the corporate titans. We're talking mega-millions drying up for Bush. After all, even though the neo-cons think they're in control, the CEO's of the mega-corporations KNOW they're the ones in control. This may end up being a great example of unintended consequences.
