O'Neill revelations ignored by mainstream media... but not the Daily Show! |
|
Jon Stewart was ON FIRE with the O'Neill accusations.
Highlights:
O'Neill released sensitive documents, including one entitled "Plan for Post-War Iraq." The Pentagon replied, "So that's where our post-war plan went. O'Neill!!!"
When Bush had doubts about the second round of tax cuts, Rove repeated like a mantra "Stay on principle. Stay on principle." Rove's other mantra, of course: "Abandon principle. Abandon principle."
The problem with Bush is that his two main advisors are Karl Rove and Dick Cheney. Y'see, you're supposed to have one angel and one devil on your shoulders, but he has two devils. It swings his decisions too evil.
God, you have to love it when the fake news has more honesty and integrity than the "real" news

1. Well, according to recent reports, people are increasingly relying |
|
on the Daily Show for news. ... Seriously.

Actually the mainstream media has been all over the latest revelations by Paul O,Neil. The Today show had the Author of his book on today, and O'Neil will be on tommorrow. Also MSNBC and CNN have reported extensively on the book. This book proves Bush and Cheney are liars and cowards who uses the brave soldiers of America for thier own personal agendas.

Daily Show, BBC America, NPR
The Washington Post is somewhat reliable. But be sure to check DailyHowler.com for errata.
BTW, the Daily Show IS fake news. But at least they're honest about it being fake. The irony is it's more accurate than the "real" news coming out of CNN, ABC and NBC. CBS is the only one that hasn't COMPLETELY caved in.
Of course the FAUX news network is 100% propaganda. Some people call it the Bush News network. A better name is the Nazi News Network.

but his books will still sell. He's still red-hot.

...for Bush that is.
This week is starting out in a very negative way for ol' chimp boy.
I wouldn't miss tommorrow morning's Today Show interview with O'Neill for anything.
Keep your backbone, Paul! Don't cave to the Rovian nastiness.

17. Tonight's guest was either really high or really wack, tho |

Whasisname, Richard Lewis? I think it was Richard Lewis.
From square one, where he propped his wierd clown shoe atop Jon's desk, I had some apprehension. Then, when Jon tried to sync up with him by saying, "you aren't talking fast, the audience is just listening slowly," the guy freaked. It was like Mr. Bean hosting Blues Clues.
Truly disturbing.
Was he coked up hard, or just acting coked? Did he mistake "do a few lines" for "do a few kilos"?
Maybe I just don't want to know.

|
Absolutely hilarious!
I think the disbelievers are starting to come around, what with Stewart "tipping his hat" to the raving lunatic on the street corner with the aluminum foil hat.
O'Neill's backtracking is WAY too late. The spell is breaking. Bush is now being seen as a corporate whore.

to get honest news reporting - which can only seem to be done with humor these days.
everyone who compliments Stewart always seems to mention that they get honest news by watching his show.
