2. Maybe Bush can tell us about his "healthy marriage" |
|
in the early 1980's and before. I'd love to know how to make it work for the first 8 years.

Does this mean they'll support public policies that are good for marriages? Like living wages, family leave, and day care?
No? Didn't think so.

4. I heard that and it sucks. |

It's a string attached to welfare mothers. My idea that instead of one person with kids on welfare, now you'll have two, cause the way those jobs are going overseas, no one will have a job anymore.
I don't know how you force a man to marry the mother of his child. As it is there are child support laws. I know the system doesn't always work, but it's better than forced marriage. Why would this fix anything? We need to give sex education, birth control information and clinical abortions to teenagers if that is their choice before they become mothers and have to drop out of school.

What the hell ever happened to "I'm a conservative?" I mean, this type of policy does not exactly conform to the strict constructionist view of the GOP, unless you're willing to reeeally stretch the "necessary and political" clause.

7. How about $1.5 billion for healthy parenting instead? |
|
What do you say, chimpy and lumpy? How about some grandstanding to get people closer to their children? You know, helping parents be good role models, by not lying or bullying, or maybe having enough self-esteem that one doesn't act like a wind-up Stepford doll?
Show us your cozy little family, chimpy and lumpy. And let's see a big hug from the big Dick Chainsaw to his gay daughter.
Frickin' hypocrites. As the battleaxe would say, "I'm through with you."
