1. I sent CBS news an email this morning asking them to cover the bill!

I doubt if that's why they are doing so, but I'm glad to see it. I also asked them to cover the Republican staffer/email scandal, so let me know if they go there, too.

5. if you watch CBS Evening News regularly

you shouldn't be surprised.

they did an EXCELLENT piece on chimpy MLK outrage. gave plenty of time to the protests AND pointed out it was a drive-by on route to a $2000 a plate fundraiser.

there is NOTHING worth seeing on cable "news"

but the network evening news DOES still carry news most nights
