"Saddam had a weapons PROGRAM" * clearly knows there are no WMD's!! |
|
And ChimpCo must be doubting its ability to plant them without getting busted!! Today, ONCE AGAIN, the Chimp made it a point (check the transcript) to say that he was confident that Saddam had a PROGRAM! http://news.independent.co.uk/world/americas/story.jsp?story=429148

it's the new spin point. Say it often enough and no one will remember * accused Saddam of having actual weapons.
When they don't find enough evidence of development programs, the point will change to "Saddam wanted to have programs for weapons of mass destruction."
And so on, and so on.

9. My freedom is rooted in the Constitution |
|
It had nothing to do with who was in power in Iraq and never will. Why is that so hard to grasp?

Ok, then let me rephrase the comment...
A. The world is a better place with us on the ground and enforcing martial law in Iraq.

threaten my freedom or yours!!! even his immediate neighbors weren't feeling threatened. "old" europe was in doubt as was the un security council. he had a program 12 years ago that was totally off line by the time we invaded. he was a toothless dictator, his conventional weapons and army in shatters, 95% of all WMDs had been accounted for and destroyed with no evidence of the other 5%. gee-duh-b's premise was IMMINENT THREAT, which the rest of the world knew was a crock. all the UN wanted was 8 more weeks for the inspectors. if we would have allowed that no matter what would have happened after at least it would have been done with a TRUE coalition and UN backing, would have been nice about now, huh?? bet the 3rd ID would have preferred that route.
i could go on for hours but why waste the bandwidth....

is also a religious fundamentalist. let them have their resources, we should be developing our technology so we don't need em. i don't want a pax-americana, we are already spread too thin.
you should maybe go on back to the narrow minded freeperland and turn on rush, you'll get no sympathy here.

18. (one last swipe at a tombstoned troll) The world is NOT "a better place".. |
|
It is a far more DANGEROUS place for all of it's inhabitants, when the planet's most powerful nation so blatantly violates and completely disregards international LAW!!!!! Pre-emptive, "preventive" wars are explicitly disallowed unless mandated by the United Nations (which this, as EVERYONE except perhaps *, clearly understands)!! As for U.S. law - one would certainly have to search far and wide to find a more IMPEACHABLE crime than for a president to intentionally mislead the United States Congress and the American people into war, by lying about evidence regarding threats to our national security!!! As for a "war on terror," you might consider the fact that Iraq has never been linked to ANY terrorist act against the U.S.!! Fighting to remove a foreign, occupying force, who illegally attacked an invaded one's country, can hardly be classified as a "terrorist" act!!

8. We all heard that. You would think that the media would be all over it! |
|
It is shameful the way the media is allowing this administration to frame the issues and debate. We must not let this go!
