The 'Bait and Switch' Faux debate
Did anybody notice that Faux News cut the debate 10 minutes short last night? Instead, television viewers were then subjected to a Right-Wing analysis of the debate.

1. Really Outrageous

I thought it was really something. Did the ABC edited version show the final statements?

4. I didn't look

Personally, I thought it was a poor debate. Instead of asking questions about important issues, most of the questions were designed to have one candidate attack another.

Faux must have believed that a good portion of the television audience (those who don't normally watch Faux News) would switch channels once the debate was over and miss the rightwing propaganda. To get around this problem, they replaced the final 10 minutes of debate with 10 minutes of rightwing analysis/propaganda. Disgusting....

3. I couldn't believe to brought out Fred Barnes and Mort to start the attack
I hope that those watching realized that that was not part of the debate.

When Brit Hume was moderating I noticed that he twice interrupted the Dems to put the WH spin into the mix too.

6. Yep
That's why I call it bait and switch...

I was expecting to see the closing of the debate instead of 10 minutes of rightwing propaganda.

7. That debate wasn't going the way they wanted it to...
candidates weren't attacking one another but Bush and his policies. They were anxious to get out of there after Edwards cleaned their clocks.

8. Kerry..
I thought it was funny they asked Kerry about the draft -- and the way they did it seemed, at least to me, to imply that this was inevitable if Kerry is elected...

And we all know Bush is the one who will be bringing back the draft.

Did anybody notice that Faux declared the winner and losers of the debate BEFORE the debate ended?
