If Novak claims journalistic privilege what does his employer claim?

I consider Novak a Traitor to America. He may have a right not to divulge his sources but what about his employer? What do they claim? They are openly aiding and abetting a Traitor. I consider this also Treasonous behavior. Proper conduct to me would be to put Novak on un-paid leave until this issue is resolved. Why does CNN keep supporting some one who would out a CIA agent and jeopardize the safety and security of this great country?
