Homework Assignment For Everyone Here!
Edited on Wed Jan-28-04 10:21 PM by KissMyAsscroft

I need to do this just as much as anyone. I am just as guilty and I apologize to bashing Kerry.

Go back through the last 3 years, using any methods you can and remember why you hate GWB.

Right now on this board there are only a few issues being discussed....IWR, No Child Left, Tax, etc...

These are important issus, yet there are thousands of reasons why any Dem is better than Bush and we can't allow ourselves to get into fighting on a couple of issues to the point where there is "no diffence" in the candidates....

I just got finished doing this and it made me totally clear my head and realize that I am ABB all the way.

Remember the White House Prayer Meetings?

Remember Henry Kissinger heading the 9/11 panel?

Remember the boy king's smarmy face at the UN?

Remember every other disgusting thing he did during his first 2 years in office?

It's easy to get caught up in the present regarding how these candidates all look compared to Bush but everyone needs to keep in mind how disgusting the first half of his term truly was.

I WANT EVERY PERSON IN THIS THREAD TO POST THEIR MOST HATED GWB MOMENT FROM THE BEGINNING OF HIS TERM.

bush and cheney and wolfowitz and rummy and perle, all warmongering and salivating at the thoughts of profits and power, with condi cheerleading them on, reminded me of one big circle jerk.

I still spit nails when I think of the prancing imposter, swaggering with his bunched-up Depends in his crotch. That AWOL deserter, lying with no conscience, sending our country's finest into his trumped-up war to avenge his daddy and reward his cronies. I'm a long, long way from forgiving him for that.

the FIRST thing I remember hating was Bush* and Cheney talking about a recession during the campaign. Anyone over about 25 years old knows that perception and consumer confidence are serious forces, and they purposely (or ignorantly) helped to create a bad economy to further their personal political benefit. May not be the most hated moment, but it was one of the earliest. There is some history of Alzheimer's Disease in my family, so I had great interest in the progress of this kind of research. 21. It starts before the [S]election of 2000
Edited on Wed Jan-28-04 10:46 PM by Design8edGrouch
The first thing I hated him for was the realization that a former coke-head presided over a penal system that was imprisoning young drug users at a rate as high, if not higher than any other state in the US. * benefited from a family rich enough to afford rehab--why didn't he assume that others would, also. Rehab for all the drug users he imprisoned would have been less expensive, more efficient and considerably more humane.

The second thing was his casualness regarding the death penalty. Someone facing execution deserved more consideration than the 15 minutes he gave them before deciding not to issue a stay. This is even more disgusting when one considers the poor representation that a huge number of Texas inmates received.

The most important one, however, concerns his response when asked by a reporter about his favorite political philosopher. He answered Jesus Christ and when the follow-up came as to why that was so. He muttered something on the order of, "if you don't know, I can't explain it to you." I would I been OK with this if he had said the Golden rule, Jesus' love for humanity, he changed my life from that of a mean-spirited hopeless drunk to that of a loving kind man, or whatever. As it was, however, he only said this because it appealed to the fundies. His cunning knows no bounds.

Now just ask me about my hatred for him since the selection!

24. Reinstituting the global "gag" rule on abortion
This was one of his very first acts after the swearing in, and if I had any shred of a doubt that this creature was totally evil, this horrible assault on the rights of women around the world removed that doubt.

Of course, he coupled that malicious deed with rejection of the Kyoto Protocols, indicating he had no respect for the planet, the lives of millions, the health of millions more.

Add to that the arsenated water, the mountaintop mining, the nominations of ultra-right-wing woman-hating religious nutcases like Ashcroft, Thompson, Olson, to the cabinet and then the nominations of all his ultra-right-wing woman-hating cronies to the federal bench.

And then let's throw in just for good measure all his faith-based shit to stink the place up even more.

I'd go on, but I have to go :puke: now, thankyouverymuch.

pg. 161 footnote--"A 1995 study by Public Citizen, a watchdog group founded by Ralph Nader, later released a report to the AP that showed 3/4's of the companies in which Bush owned stock, were defendant corporations & could be drastically affected by lawsuit reforms, including Baxter International Inc., & Baxter Trevanol Labs, two companies at the center of more than 3,000 breast implant suits."

A few more hateful acts:

Changing bankrupcy laws

Patriot Act
Homeland Security
Taxbreaks for the rich

Giving 40 million to the Taliban
Escorting the bin Ladens out of the US after 9/11
Kissing Saudi Royal Ass as often as possible

Inflicting his brother Jeb on the Nation.

Destroying overtime pay

Kenny Boy and Enron

Ignoring warnings prior to 9/11

Spending half his time in Crawford, the other half fund raising.

Using black school children as props.

Using corporate CEOs dressed as workers as props to promote tax cuts for the rich.

Starting the stupid flag lapel fad

Taking the badge of a dead policeman from his aging mother to use as a prop.

Causing the Japanese stockmarket to crash when he visited.

Causing North Korea to start their nuclear plants again.

Giving Neil Bush the lucrative contracts to sell educational and testing software to support the No Child Left Behind Law.

Free Speech Zones

And mostly for insulting my intelligence every time he opened his mouth. Every time.

Total Information Awareness and programs like it have been operating since late 1940s, when they were founded to combat the Communist infiltration. Yet they proved and this a fact, almost completely useless in combating the Communists. By 1956, KGB had over 6000 agents and informants in the continental US alone.
